encouraging words

Nursing is replete with tireless women and men who answer the call to serve others, around the clock, every day of the year.  It is a sisterhood and brotherhood, bound by a common theme, that the patient comes first – before lunch, before bathroom breaks, and before sleep.

Sometimes patients notice.  Sometimes they don’t.

Sometimes families notice. Sometimes they don’t.

Administrators notice lots of things, but often miss the extra mile, the selflessness, the wonderful things nurses do all the time, when no one is looking.

Nurses make a difference!  They bring CARE to the health care system!

It is better to aim for excellence and miss it, than to aim for mediocrity and hit it.

Anything I do in this world, is not because of me, it is in spite of my humanity.  For everything good comes from God!

Work for the joy and pleasure of cooperating with God.

Contentment is a choice. Peace is the reward.

Every day we have the opportunity to be a blessing to others, right where we are!
